Where I recount my most current, feable attempt to con trout into feasting on my poor excuses of immatations of their natural dining choices.

Rainbow on the Swift, July 22nd
I caught this 18 inch rainbow trout on the Swift River using a grey streamer, on a 6 weight fly rod. I love it when they strike in the middle of the sweep!

July 22nd
This 18 inch raibow trout got conned into striking a grey streamer (size 8 jighead hook) on a 6 weight rod. It was one of three rainbow's I landed that day (all on the exact same streamer), they too were in the 16 - 18 inch range. I also had two other trout, rainbows I presume, on the line that managed to wiggle free before I could land them. Prior to all of this, I landed 6 - 8 small mouth bass, one about the same size as this sucker! I love it when they strike the streamer in the middle of the sweep! I can't wait to get back out on the Swift River again.
